Registering as a Coach or Manager
First of all, thank you to all the parents and family friends that have given up their precious free time to volunteer as coaches and managers. The Club appreciates you and will assist you in helping the kids have an enjoyable and successful year.
The Club is not responsible for finding coaches or managers. It is the responsibility of the parental group to either find a coach amongst themselves or their circle of friends. The Club will help provide training and guidance for the coaches and managers and there is an abundance of free resources on this website. See the Resources pages.
All coaches and managers must agree to abide by the FSC Rules governing volunteers. Remember that you are ambassadors of Balgownie Junior Football Club at all times.
Coach & Manager Self-Registration
ALL Coaches and Managers need to register each year through the PlayFootball website. The process is the same as for players.
Select Balgownie Junior Football Club as the Club
All new registrations must be completed by the week before the competition starts. Existing FFA numbers remain valid for life (or until FFA changes their regulations).
Child protection laws also apply and by registering for an FFA number on the PlayFootball website, you agree to be bound by these laws. All coaches and managers are required to have a Working with Children Check
