Code of behaviour
Junior football in Australia is governed by a code of behaviour at every level of involvement:
- Players;
- Spectators;
- Volunteers; and
- Officials.
BJFC Volunteers are to abide by the code described in the Club’s Constitution and all persons interested in coaching/managing a team are required to have a valid Working with Children Check prior to taking up a team official position with the Club.
Besides the code of conduct there is also a general policy regarding the Protection of Members. This policy is administered by the Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) and each Club in the FSC jurisdiction has to nominate at least one MPIO. All complaints regarding a breach of any of the codes needs to be directed to the MPIO in writing and using the appropriate submission forms.
Please read and abide by the following:
- FSC Players Code of Conduct
- FSC Junior Code of Conduct – Parents
- FSC Junior Code of Conduct – Team Officials
- FFA Code of Conduct
The Club takes very seriously its duty of care towards players, spectators and referees and has several posters encouraging reasonable behaviour placed around the grounds
