Code of behaviour

Junior football in Australia is governed by a code of behaviour at every level of involvement:

  • Players;
  • Spectators;
  • Volunteers; and
  • Officials.

BJFC Volunteers are to abide by the code described in the Club’s Constitution and all persons interested in coaching/managing a team are required to have a valid Working with Children Check prior to taking up a team official position with the Club.

Besides the code of conduct there is also a general policy regarding the Protection of Members. This policy is administered by the Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) and each Club in the FSC jurisdiction has to nominate at least one MPIO. All complaints regarding a breach of any of the codes needs to be directed to the MPIO in writing and using the appropriate submission forms.

Please read and abide by the following:

The Club takes very seriously its duty of care towards players, spectators and referees and has several posters encouraging reasonable behaviour placed around the grounds

# Under 14: Division 3 - Shout out to our U14.3 Team and their Coach Steve W. who has submitted this season update.-> Coach Steve W: I am very proud of my boys and Team. We have a varied level of skill from player to player and despite that, we've managed to maintain a standard of football that has kept us near the top of the table. -> Our focus this season has been to play consistent football. We've dipped a couple of games but overall I think we have achieved that goal. The players and their families have supported each other extremely well. -> We have a few games left before finals and I think the boys are hopeful of bringing a trophy home in 2024. # Well done and thank you to the U14.3 Team and Coach Steve.🥅⚽🥅 ...
