 STEP 1

 Obtain your Active Kids Rebate Voucher. Register to play online at www.playfootball.com.au. 

 STEP 2

 Pay your fees 

 STEP 3

 For new players, email proof of age / DOB to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au 

 STEP 4  Contact registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au if you are interested in helping as a volunteer coach or manager in your child’s team If you have a full or partial team, download and complete a team list here and email it to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au. Note: Teams are subject to approval. If there are enough players to form more than one team in any age group above U12, official grading sessions must be held.
 STEP 5  In late February, BJFC will group players into teams. In mid February, BJFC will group remaining players into teams and ensure even numbers across age groups and teams.  BJFC will then group players based on grading results, and number of players. Teams will be announced mid February.
 STEP 6

 In late February, your new coach / manager will be in touch to set up a training time.

Training commences approx early March.

STEP 7 Ensure your child owns football boots and shin pads. Shirts, shorts and socks will be provided for new U6 players. Ensure your child owns football boots, shin pads and BJFC club shorts and socks.  Ensure your child owns football boots, shin pads and BJFC club shorts and socks.

4th January 2024 update on Registration Fees for the 2024 season

Registration Fees are remaining the same for the 2024 season.

Early Bird Registration Fees in January 2024

U6 to U11 Early Bird registration fee $150.

U12 to U17 Early Bird registration fee $175.

* The Early Bird discount is a $25 discount which is available until the 11th February 2024.
* Please note if an U12 player registers in U13’s the Fee will be $164 due to the higher Football NSW and Football South Coast costs for U13’s.

Standard Registration Fees in February 2024

U6 to U11 Standard registration Fee $175.

U12 to U17 standard registration fee is $200.

Please note that Registration assists with the following expenses:

  • Football South Coast Junior Council fee per player
  • Football NSW fee per player
  • Football Federation Australia fee per player
  • Insurance for both individual players and the Balgownie Junior Football Club
  • Ground rental for both training and match days
  • Trophies
  • Uniform design and production
  • Playing and training equipment
  • Upgrading of clubhouse facilities as per Council requirements
  • Referee payments

Our canteen has helped to offset these and other expenses incurred in the running of our club and has been the primary source of income for BJFC.
