 STEP 1

 Obtain your Active Kids Rebate Voucher. Register to play online at www.playfootball.com.au. 

 STEP 2

 Pay your fees 

 STEP 3

 For new players, email proof of age / DOB to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au 

 STEP 4  Contact registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au if you are interested in helping as a volunteer coach or manager in your child’s team If you have a full or partial team, download and complete a team list here and email it to registrar@balgowniejuniors.com.au. Note: Teams are subject to approval. If there are enough players to form more than one team in any age group above U12, official grading sessions must be held.
 STEP 5  In late February, BJFC will group players into teams. In mid February, BJFC will group remaining players into teams and ensure even numbers across age groups and teams.  BJFC will then group players based on grading results, and number of players. Teams will be announced mid February.
 STEP 6

 In late February, your new coach / manager will be in touch to set up a training time.

Training commences approx early March.

STEP 7 Ensure your child owns football boots and shin pads. Shirts, shorts and socks will be provided for new U6 players. Ensure your child owns football boots, shin pads and BJFC club shorts and socks.  Ensure your child owns football boots, shin pads and BJFC club shorts and socks.

4th January 2024 update on Registration Fees for the 2024 season

Registration Fees are remaining the same for the 2024 season.

Early Bird Registration Fees in January 2024

U6 to U11 Early Bird registration fee $150.

U12 to U17 Early Bird registration fee $175.

* The Early Bird discount is a $25 discount which is available until the 11th February 2024.
* Please note if an U12 player registers in U13’s the Fee will be $164 due to the higher Football NSW and Football South Coast costs for U13’s.

Standard Registration Fees in February 2024

U6 to U11 Standard registration Fee $175.

U12 to U17 standard registration fee is $200.

Please note that Registration assists with the following expenses:

  • Football South Coast Junior Council fee per player
  • Football NSW fee per player
  • Football Federation Australia fee per player
  • Insurance for both individual players and the Balgownie Junior Football Club
  • Ground rental for both training and match days
  • Trophies
  • Uniform design and production
  • Playing and training equipment
  • Upgrading of clubhouse facilities as per Council requirements
  • Referee payments

Our canteen has helped to offset these and other expenses incurred in the running of our club and has been the primary source of income for BJFC.

# Congratulations to our former player Jude Christie with his selection into the Australian U19 Schoolboys Team who will be touring the United Kingdom in January 2025. ->Jude played for Balgownie from the age of 5 to 11. His Mum Heidi reports that "Balgowine is where it all started for Jude including this photo from the family archives with Jude and his first BJFC Player of the Week trophy! Jude's passion after that first game was unbelievable, and too this day all Jude wants and thinks about is Football". -> Jude's pathway was:- BJFC U6 to U11- Football South Coast U12 - Macarthur Rams U13- Wollongong Wolves U14 onwards and in 2024 he has played for the Wolves U18’s and U20’s.-> Since April this year Jude has competed in a number of School soccer events where they eliminate most and put their top players through. Jude went to Brisbane to represent NSW All Schools and this is where he was selected to be apart of the Australian team.-> The Christie family were heavily involved at BJFC with his Dad being Coach for 2 years, Mum a Team Manager and both parents often helping in the Canteen.-> The Balgownie Junior Football Club acknowledge, celebrate and support our former players and their families who go on to achieve high honours.-> Well done Jude Christie on your Australian Schoolboys selection and we will continue to watch your progress as you chase your dream to play professionally.🥅⚽🥅 ... # We have one team left playing in the 2024 season after yesterday's results.-> Congratulations to our U14.1 Girls on a great season being Minor Premiers and Grand Final winners. Unfortunately their season came to end yesterday with a 2-0 loss against Sutherland in their Champion of Champions fixture. -> Well done to our U15.1 Boys who won through to the next round of the Champion of Champions tournament with a 2-0 win against Macquarie United, and are our last team standing for the 2024 season. ... # Shout out and good luck to Coach Elisabeth Correia - our U6 Yellow, U8 Blue and Balgownie Rangers First Grade Women's Coach and her first grade team as they compete in the Women's Community League Division 1 Grand Final on Sunday.-> Coach Elisabeth has had a very busy year with her two children's teams then also coaching and some times playing in the first grade Women's senior team. -> The team came 4th in the regular season, and last weekend won their Final 2-1 in a thrilling extra time against the Minor Premiers Shoalhaven, to win through to this Sunday's Grand Final.# Balgownie v Fairy Meadow- Division 1: All Age Women Grand Final- 3pm- Sunday 22nd September at Ian McLennan Park.# Elisabeth reports the team have their boots clean and ready for the big occasion and are keen for support on Sunday!🥅⚽🥅 ...
